Alan Forcier from Kings Park, New York, is a former undercover narcotics detective. Alan spent seven months at the fresh kills landfill on Staten Island where he searched for and collected evidence during the WTC recovery operation.
In April 2002, Alan became sick, and now suffers from post-traumatic stress, respiratory problems, asthma and heart ailments. He retired from the NYPD with ordinary disability benefits after he was told that his illnesses were not job related.
